Talk:Punjab and Haryana High Court

Page contents not supported in other languages.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This high court is one of the best High Courts of India. This is known for several firsts: both good or bad

The page seems to be copy pasted; irrelevant information.

[edit]

Hello,

I was just searching around this page and found some material being exactly same as this one. The material I found was on the official website of the Court on which this article is written. The information written there is lengthy and detailed. Half of that information has no connection with what the article is about. The information is directly copy-pasted without being taken care of the quality of the article. I have spent hours to improve the quality of the article. But, the extra matter must be deleted.

I am not able to tell from where should I delete. So, if anyone is up for it, please take the duty to edit it and remove the unnecessary information. The information I am talking about is in the Evolution section.

The information on the page is regarding the High Court and obviously the data which is to be added here has to be from a verifiable source and the best source being the official website of the Court.

Once, this is same; the page only contains information of the Present/Past judges and there is nothing wrong in it. Please remove this tag. Or suggest a measure to be followed — Preceding unsigned comment added by Srin2015 (talkcontribs) 16:10, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I reget that I have had to revert the article to its 2008 state in order to remove the copyright violation. This means that many subsequent edits may need to be redone, and I apologise to anyone whose work has been lost. The previous versions of the page will soon be hidden from sight.
There was an interminable list of judges in the article. While I'm sure that that does not belong in an article, and fairly certain that it does not belong in Wikipedia at all (WP:NOTDIR), I have stored that content (with formatting) offline, and can provide it to anyone who wants to create List of judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
