Hi Jiang, Menchi, and Olivier: Since all of us are here now, let's take down the requested articles for China and Taiwan. I think there is a real possibility there can be zero of them in 1 hour. --Kaihsu Tai 10:09, 25 Nov 2003 (UTC)

And by 'real possibility' I mean 'positive probability'. --Kaihsu Tai 10:11, 25 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Aaaaah!! Got to run from this place! --Jiang

Reorganization

[edit]

Can someone write up the recent reorganization? This may be helpful:

Mistakes

[edit]

National Palace Museum is under the ROC President Office. National Police Agency is under the Ministry of the Interior. Could someone please change these two since I am the new comer. Chcyang

The National Palace Museum is under the Executive Yuan. – Kaihsu 23:21, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And, Central Bank of China is also under Executive Yuan. The Department of Health and the Environmental Protection Agency in Taiwan are the same level because the EPA of ROC is separated from Department of Health. Chcyang

Introduction sentence

[edit]

I propose to change the "Republic of China" in the first sentence in those government and military articles into "Taiwan", because Taiwan is the common name for the country. The Republic of China is so rarely used in third-party sources that readers may confuse it with the People's Republic of China.--Coco977 (talk) 06:57, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Taiwan should definitely be mentioned, either replacing ROC entirely, or one of them in parentheses (or with the word "or" as some articles do). Softlavender (talk) 12:45, 27 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
