Forty-nine of the fifty states are bicameral, with all but one of the lower chambers being named the House of Representatives or House of Delegates. Only Nebraska has a unicameral legislature, which is known as the House of Representatives. Wisconsin's lower chamber is the Wisconsin State Assembly, whose presiding officer is the Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly.
