On Poland

[edit]

I'm curious about the citation that "He was endorsing both the tyrannical occupation of Poland and the use of its people as slave labourers". I don't have a copy of Housden's "Resistance and Conformity in the Third Reich", did von Stauffenberg explicitly state that he supported the use of Poles as slave workers, or is this another case of guilt by association? 109.156.247.84 (talk) 21:58, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stauffenberg wrote to his wife: “The population is an unbelievable rabble, a great many Jews and a lot of mixed race. A people who only feel comfortable under the whip. The thousands of prisoners will be quite good for our agriculture. In Germany, they will certainly be useful, hardworking, willing, and unassuming.”
I think that should be in the article. JonValkenberg (talk) 19:57, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Footnote 44

[edit]

Footnote 44 is attributed to "Tyson" but there is not Tyson in the bibliography. RZ999 (talk) 19:23, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Same with footnote 46. RZ999 (talk) 19:25, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Too bad this article can't be bothered to check how his first name is spelled. 2A02:AA1:164B:F6E4:B0DA:A79:A476:E5C (talk) 22:41, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, it's only five years since someone pointed this out. That explains it. 2A02:AA1:164B:F6E4:B0DA:A79:A476:E5C (talk) 22:42, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

subterranean führerbunker

[edit]

The "subterranean führerbunker" also hasn't been fixed since being pointed out in 2019. The bunkers in Wolfsschanze, unlike the one in the Reichskanzlei, were overground constructions. 2A02:AA1:164B:F6E4:B0DA:A79:A476:E5C (talk) 03:21, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
