Apologies to all for the jiggery-pokery, but the area is known as Aylesbury Vale first, Vale of Aylesbury second. Therefore, by whatever naming conventions, Aylesbury Vale should be the main article, Vale of Aylesbury the redirect. Graham  :) 01:02, 5 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Ranking lists?

[edit]

I read about this Admiral Ross, he spent his final years in Aylesbury Vale. As a man of prestige, he could retire where he wanted, and he ended up there. Are there any statistics confirming that A-Vale is a place to live in? --83.108.31.191 (talk) 22:06, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Name and subject of article

[edit]

It seems that this article is attempting to describe two different though overlapping areas - one is the Vale of Aylebsury, a physical feature and named as such on Ordnance Survey mapping and secondly the Aylesbury Vale local government unit. There would be merit in teasing these two things apart. cheers Geopersona (talk) 18:57, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
