You appear to have made this page using an InfoBox maker. Infoboxes are meant to go on the side of a regular Wikipedia page, not be the entire content of the page. You also don't establish why he is notable. Since he is a living person there is a fairly high bar and so I will be nominating this for a speedy deletion (you will get a separate note about this). Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 18:14, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

He's the author of a Prometheus-award nominated novel, as is evident from his page. But maybe give me more than 3 minutes to establish things before you start nominating things for a speedy deletion, ok, pal?

Speedy deletion nomination of Travis J I Corcoran

[edit]

Hello Loweeel,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Travis J I Corcoran for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 18:14, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed this notice for now (seeing you are still working on it) but it might come back from another reviewer. You need to link to reliable sources that can establish he is a notable person. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 18:17, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article Travis J I Corcoran has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable author. Fails to meet WP:GNG, WP:BIO, or WP:AUTHOR.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Whatever a "favour" is (hint, nothing in a civilized country), there is nothing to come clean about. There was no sock-puppetry. There happen to be other people who feel similarly who didn't have wikipedia accounts. I don't engage in sock-puppetry, have never engaged in sock puppetry, and do not and have not made edits to Wikipedia outside of this account for over a decade. You, on the other hand, have made a baseless assumption, without evidence, that I would engage in crude and obvious sock-puppetry. Your assumption that I am those IP addresses, or am responsible for them or their posts in anyway, is unsupported by anything whatsoever. It is actual begging the question -- you are assuming what *you* need to prove; disproving your idiocy is not my job, as I am not responsible for your incorrect assumptions and conspiracy theories. Great burden-shifting, you megalomaniacal hack. As for your assertion that I "chose not to take that opportunity," I have better things to do than monitor messages on Wikipedia all day to avoid a Kafkaesque trial. If any opportunity was missed, it was yours to apologize for jumping to erroneous conclusions and making false assumptions. In closing, sod off, swampy. - Loweeel (talk) 13:20, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Loweeel,
