I seem to recall a case in NYC a few years ago in which it was stated (possibly from the bench) that running when you see the police isn't necessarily suspicious (this may only hold if the person running is a minority). --Calieber 20:08, Oct 29, 2003 (UTC)

Hmm, this sounds a lot like one of the defenses used by the cops who shot Amadou Diallo. Wonder if there should be a link? Tualha 23:25, 13 Dec 2003 (UTC)
