License tagging for Image:Halpern.pdf

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Halpern.pdf. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:07, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Sustainability

[edit]

Hi Omnist. Would you please put something in the summary box if you delete a lot of material. I thought your deletions to Sustainability were vandalism, and acted accordingly, until I noticed your entry on the discussion page. If you leave something on the talk page and then delete a lot of stuff, put something like "see talk" in the edit summary. Thanks. --Geronimo20 (talk) 03:32, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation

[edit]

I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Manfred Halpern. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.

Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.

Here's a video tutorial - hit play, then right-click for "full screen".

Here's an example of how to add references:

Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref>

He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>

== References ==

{{reflist}}

That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.

Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat chanel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

Original research

[edit]

Please do not continue to add original research to Acquanetta. You are piecing together a number of unreliable sources in order to attempt to promote a specific point of view - this is considered synthesis. Please ensure any material you add is supported by reliable sources as opposed to conjecture. Thank you, --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:07, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
