Furry article

[edit]

Nightwatch,

Hi. I noticed your recent edit to the Furry article. Several of the groups mentioned in the paragraph you removed aren't technically furries, but they're often grouped with furries in popular perception, and I think that an (accurate) mention in the article wouldn't be out of place. You're certainly welcome to remove material you think the article's better off without. It'd be helpful when you make deletions to an article to leave a copy of the material on the talk page, though, along with a short note about why it was deleted.

Have fun,

Return to Zork question

[edit]

Hey there, noticed you edited the return to zork article with some new information. Don't worry, I'm not complaining, I'm just curious as to how you actually do regain the bonding plant if you kill it. I wrote a small faq describing how to fill in all the notebook entries way back in the day, although I think I had to leave a few slots unspecified. Basically, if you know of any other interesting trivia about the game or small things like that that I might have missed, it would be interesting to hear.--BigCow 06:31, 25 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, you can get the plant back by burning the dead one, then coming back later (typically after you get the magic map). The secret is so well-hidden (not to mention illogical) that most guides overlook it! I might edit the RTZ article more soon: I was surprised to see that there was so little information there on a surprisingly good, if practically unplayable with a hint book, game. Wyoming Incident

[edit]

I deleted the "Wyoming Incident" section on the Broadcast signal intrusion page, mostly on account of the fact that all of the Internet-available information seems to be originating from one not-very-reputable source (i.e. the Google Video page), not to mention that there are a lot of "facts" about the video that don't add up. But the whole story is interesting; if you have some additional sources, I'd like to hear about them. Just don't be offended by me removing your edit. Don't know if you still care, but here is: http://youtube.com/watch?v=K21YdhuxjlM Thunderbunny 03:03, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Arcanine-059.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Arcanine-059.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 00:35, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Hits brothers

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Hits brothers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
