WikiProject class rating

[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as stub, and the rating on other projects was brought up to Stub class. BetacommandBot 18:54, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My reverts

[edit]

I have reverted. This is because a long list of modules, unless covered in external reliable sources, are not notable enough, so shouldn't appear on the article. Any good reasons why they should remain. I would also like to point out [1] if you are connected at all with the organisation. Mdann52 (talk) 12:46, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment

[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:National Institute of Design/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

This has now shown up on User:Triddle/stubsensor. I recommend moving up to the next rating, it is clearly no longer a stub. --Thinboy00 talk/contribs @154, i.e. 02:41, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

The result of this discussion was to Merge, no objection was raised for three months Muhandes (talk) 08:24, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar be merged into National Institute of Design. I think that the content in the National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar article can easily be explained in the context of National Institute of Design, since it is merely a campus of that same institute. I believe the National Institute of Design article is of a reasonable size that the merging of National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar article will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. In addition, the article National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar does not provide any sources to show notability, and is unlikely to have such sources in the future, so if not merged, it would most likely not stand WP:AFD. Notable alumni

[edit]

I moved the following listing from the page since they lack sources for being alumni, see WP:ALUMNI.

Need More Update

[edit]
@Muhandes: Sir, Need More changes related to this 'NIDs'.

The National Institute of Design Bill 2019 has been passed, Now all 5 NIDs are Independent. Soo i requesting you to create an unique page National Institutes of Design just like National Institutes of Technology. NID now no more single entity. Thanks--Kulbhushan Jhadav (talk) 04:35, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Kulbhushan Jhadav: I'm not sure exactly what content you would propose to have on National Institutes of Design. Do these institutes exist? Do they have a centralised management? centralised admittance? Anything else in common that deserves an article? I'm not saying this is not worth an article, I just do not have time to do all the research. --Muhandes (talk) 19:51, 30 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Muhandes: Yeah They have Centralized Admission Process. NID Kurukshetra, NID, Jorhat, NID, Vijaywada, National Institute of Design, Bhopal --Kulbhushan Jhadav (talk) 05:08, 08 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Kulbhushan Jhadav, if you think that there needs to be such a page, go ahead and create it. Do you need my help in this? --Muhandes (talk) 18:36, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
