Could someone add information about RockBass basses and their relation to Warwick. --Easyas12c 17:30, 26 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The RockBass line was added at the specific request of major retailers Guitar Center and Sam Ash. Retailers in other countries also expressed strong intersest in affordable Warwick basses.

After an exhaustive review, a factory was found in China with the same instrument making ethic that Hans Peter Wilfer learned from his father. Warwick employees supervise the manufacturing process and the final QC of every instrument. Neck profiles, body contours, setup, and fretwork all meet Warwicks strict German standards of excellence.

Could someone check the bass timeline? I have a Corvette Pro from 92... the serial is I 000053 92. Possibly the other dates are incorrect as well.

really needs pruning

[edit]

While I believe that Warwick instruments are truly amazing, and I'm a fan of vintage Framus electrics, this article comes across significantly as corporate promotion rather than encyclopedic content.

As such, I am removing the multiple lists of models. These might qualify for reinstatement if some impartial source (or sources) can be referenced that provides such lists, although even then it would be much better to describe the Warwick model series in prose and in a summary fashion, and direct the minority of interested Wikipedia users there for detail.

Criticism missing

[edit]

Warwick was known for paying below standards and detaining unions. After criticism Wilfer took the initiative and made company policies more transparent, ever since criticism became less. In the beginning, though, he tried to ban online criticism. Also see german article for sources. KhlavKhalash (talk) 12:15, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Players of Warwick guitars

[edit]

I'm sure that Emma Anzai of the band Sick Puppies and also of Evanescence (2022-present) plays a Warwick "Streamer" bass. As mentioned near the end of this article. https://bassmagazine.com/.amp/artists/bass-magazine-lockdown-check-in-with-emma-anzai CursedSerpentine (talk) 22:25, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Players lists

[edit]

At the moment the order of the names in the lists seems random: is there a rationale? If not, should they be made alphabetical (or given some other deliberate order)? {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 94.2.5.208 (talk) 03:44, 17 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
