Talk:Family tree of Spanish monarchs

I think it's time to update the Spain family tree (Spain united), to show the wedding of Prince Philip of Spain, the current heir to the throne, and Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano, the past 22nd of May in the "Catedral de la Almudena", in Madrid, Spain. I've tried editing the image myself with The Gimp, but since I don't know which font was used or which size, the result isn't quite what I expected... I'll keep working on it, and when I have something "acceptable", if the family tree still remains "outdated", I'll upload the modified image.

I'm totally new in editing and/or completing Wikipedia articles, so please forgive my lack of experience...

Your contributions are welcome, dear anonimous user. The font is Verdana, 10 pts. If you want to ask any question, post it in my my talk page. Cheers, Muriel G 07:50, 28 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Error in family tree

[edit]

The mother of King Juan Carlos is listed as being the daughter of Charles of Borboun-Sicilies and Maria Mercedes de las Mercedes Borbon y Asburgo-Lorena a daughter of King Alfonso XII. This is incorrect Maria Maria Mercedes de las Mercedes Borbon y Asburgo-Lorena died in 1904 ,the mother of King Juan Carlos was born in 1910 and Her name was Maria de las Mercedes de Borbon y Orleans and not Bourbon-Sicilies. What happened the Aragon Family tree? I don't know how, but can someone who does please fix it? What has happened to the Aragon family tree? -Danny David Jason Walker 01 January 2006

Maria de las Mercedes de Borbon y Orleans is the daughter of Louise, Charles's second wife. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.16.193.194 (talk) 20:22, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article title

[edit]

The tree is composed of both Kings and Queen(s). In order to have an appropriate title, i am moving the title to Monarchs of Spain family tree. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up ® 15:48, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Text under image

[edit]

The following text was under the image.

Louis of Bourbon, Dauphin of France, son of Louis XIV was born in 1661, not 1611

If it is correct then it should be incorporated into an updated version of the image. — MrDolomite • Talk 14:02, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:French monarchs family tree which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 09:14, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Some niceties to be considered

[edit]

This complex family tree is missing legends to indicate marriages and descendants. I don't feel spending time deciphering the dotted lines between the boxes, and between descendants. — Ineuw talk 16:18, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
