Endurance Circuit

[edit]

The circuit used for GPs from 2004-2009 is called the endurance circuit and not the 2010 GP circuit. Edited —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.123.251.195 (talk) 13:01, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinates

[edit]

I corrected the coordinates of the circuit. The coordinates given are for the start/finish line, taken from Google Earth. --Ciroa 18:03, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I added external links to BBC & official F1 site. --Cheetaih (talk) 23:24, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GTR-FIA Racing Game

[edit]

I removed the link to the game GTR - FIA GT Racing Game from the list, because the track was not included in the original game. As for many other games Bahrain is available as inofficial mod by the community. --Dahie (talk) 14:57, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Endurance circuit

[edit]

If anyone knows the lap record for the new layout that will be used for the 2010 Bahrain Grand Prix, please add it to the infobox.--Midgrid(talk) 15:09, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done so. Cs-wolves(talk) 15:52, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lap record?

[edit]

According to the BBC website the fastest lap is not 1:31.447 by Pedro de la Rosa in 2005 but 1:30.252 by Schumacher in 2004? So who is right, FIA or BBC?

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/formula1/26810197 --Vunzmstr (talk) 21:39, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The circuit was slightly modified between 2004 and 2005. Schumacher's 1:30.252 is the lap record for the original (5.417 km) circuit; de la Rosa's 1:31.447 is the record for the modified (5.412 km) circuit). DH85868993 (talk) 23:43, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder that Lap Records are taken from the race session only, not from Qualifying or Practice sessions.

A lap in a Formula One car

[edit]

Hi, it might be a good idea to add at the beginning of this section the top speed approaching the breaking zone after the start/finish line, which is about 325kph (202mph). Talk it over with your people & add it in if you think it would be worthwhile. Thanks 120.16.82.117 (talk) 17:42, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
