Back in the 60s Ratu Mara was occasionally known as Kamisese Mara Uluilakeba, using his father's traditional name as a surname, since late 60s this usage disappeared.--Xorkl000 11:14, 30 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Edward Cakobau = Etuate Tugi Tuivanuavou

[edit]

Ratu Sir Edward Cakobau is another example of this charmingly cavalier attitude to names; he is known by many as Etuate Tuivanuavou, which I understand to be his baptismal name. The Cakobau got tacked on later in his life. I'm not putting this in the article because I am not sure that i am 100% correct. --Xorkl000 11:21, 30 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
