[edit]

Many types still here were prototypes or concepts only - these should eventually be weeded out.... --Rlandmann 06:24, 9 Feb 2004 (UTC)

I moved a big block of text on Messerschmitt Me 264 over to the discussion page on that aircraft as it wasn't at home in a list. --Stephen Burnett 02:20, 14 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Usage of GDR instead of DDR

[edit]

Wouldn't it be better to use the English term GDR instead of the German one (DDR)?

The list should be better

[edit]

If anyone has time to improve the list, look here. http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww1/f There are much German aircrafts that are not here. (The list has also British and Russian there too). Check the Bomber on the menu too. --Pudeo 13:35, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

easier to go here and look at this list first List of military aircraft of Central Powers in WWI GraemeLeggett 14:04, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Messerschmitt Me 290?

[edit]

Anyone have a source for this aircraft, as it is not on RLM's Typenliste--Bryson 15:47, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since no source has been posted, I have removed the Messerschmitt Me 290. --Bryson 16:52, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
An error carried from the first article revision, according to the description as maritime patrol + bomber + recon the Junkers Ju 290 was in the editors mind. --Denniss 19:34, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating

[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one article was rated and this bot brought all the other ratings up to at least that level. BetacommandBot 10:21, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe this article should be rated a B class at least after a quick peer review. Ammar (Talk - Don't Talk) 22:58, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The list is very inclusive, and well-organized. Much better than a start. --Bryson 14:21, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have rated it as B-class per above comments.--Bryson 14:23, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is the title accurate?

[edit]

I would argue that the title of the page needs to be modified. American planes are not German manufactured, so is it correct to call, for example, an F14 an aircraft "of Germany"?

I suggest the following title - "List of military aircraft used by Germany". That way, it encompasses home built and foreign.Adam1516 (talk) 14:14, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
