Appearances Descriptions

[edit]

Descriptions of his various appearances are getting too long. It is not necessary to outline the plot in full. The "kingdom hearts" section is particularly bad for this. I think it is sufficient here to name the work he appears in and perhaps give a brief description of Pete's part in it, with a link to the relevant article. Any other opinions? Oppose. This would turn this article into a pointless list article, instead of offering any information on the character and his depictions. Dimadick (talk) 15:25, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nonsense, clearing the redundant trivia from the appearances section will make that section more useable, and have no affect on the rest of the article at all. Mediatech492 (talk) 17:11, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
These are the meat of the article, not trivia. Dimadick (talk) 18:56, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Finnish name

[edit]

I don't have the privilege to edit this page, but if you can, you should edit the Finnish voice actor part to be:

Markku Riikonen (1992-2000) Tuomo Rysti (2001-now)

Pete voice

[edit]

Brian K. Tyler. Please revert your edit. Not only did you add an unreliable source but you are engaging in original research since the book does not state that Bletcher first voiced Pete in the Mail Pilot, but that he did all the way back in 1932's Klondike Kid. That of course contradicts what Bletcher himself says. LittleJerry (talk) 01:14, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Evil Queen (Disney) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 16:04, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

More name history

[edit]

He was called Peg-Leg Pete in the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit era too. About 30 seconds into Ozzie of the Mounted from 1928 there's a wanted poster with his name written on it.

There are a couple of places in this article which ought to be updated with that info. Basically the into paragraph, and also a couple of other spots which suggest his name was more amorphous in the early days. 2600:100A:B12E:50E3:9D6:DB90:93F6:532D (talk) 01:47, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pete in the Star Wars toy line.

[edit]

Not even sure if this is important / trivia / or just miscellaneous Pete … but in the Disney Star Wars toy line - Mickey as Luke, Minnie as Leia ,Goofy as C3P0 & Darth Vader (!?!),etc. - Pete, with two legs, was cast as Boba Fett. Pete’s appearance in Disneyland.

[edit]

Pete has appeared occasionally in store displays, along Main Street U.S.A. over the years, but, he has had one permanent appearance at Disneyland in Toontown. On one of the the building upper windows, near the Roger Rabbit ride, appears Pete’s face and his company name, “Pete’s Prosthetics “. (Which may or may not be in poor taste.).75.107.41.198 (talk) 22:30, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
