"A naturist at heart". Fabulous. I can't believe I missed that, I can only presume that I was thinking too much about what a gaffe it would be to mix the two up and didn't pay attention to what I'd actually written. Well spotted there, anyway, I'd read that article through several times and completely missed that. Cheers. Fosse8 05:07, 12 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Barbellion's brother

[edit]

I think you have the wrong name for B.F. Cummings (Barbellion)'s brother. My copy of The Journal of a Disappointed Man (a 1948 Penguin edition) has an introduction by his brother A.J. Cummings -- who incidentally I think had a fairly distinguished Fleet Street career in the 1920s and 1930s Jrsd 16:21, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Barbellion had two brothers: Arthur J. Cummings (1881-1957) and Henry R. Cummings (1886-1970). It was the latter who gave the interview referred to.
