I agree. No wonder I'd never seen this page before! Walkerma 22:52, 18 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I started linking them, but i only got through B before i got bored...i might finish doing it, but anyone else is greatly encouraged to go for it - 12.4.81.145 14:56, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You know, it's pretty easy with a text editor with search-and-replace feature, that supports regular expressions... 82.211.204.104 16:35, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The interlanguage link template {{ill}} allows for a link to Wikidata rather than a specific language, assuming the compound is in Wikidata, which many are. These links provide useful information to readers, since for such chemicals there are often pubchem and other IDs held in Wikidata. Also, it would make it much easier to create English-language articles, since many of the items needed for our Chemboxes are repeated in Wikidata. After an article has been created, the Wikidata link will not be displayed in the list and may be removed automatically by a bot. I am beginning to provide these links but doing them all may take some time! Others are welcome to assist.... Mike Turnbull (talk) 13:45, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
