preemptive disambig

[edit]

In general article titles are not to be preemptively disambiguated, and there is only on EP7 in Wikipedia (and in AMG for that matter). Unless someone is entering another EP7 at this moment, EP7 (Autechre ep) should be renamed back to just EP7. – edgarde 16:00, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also noteworthy, this album is named EP7, but it is an album-length compilation of two EPs. What constitutes an EP is a grey area, but at over 70 minutes, this is at best only nominally an EP. Anyway, this band are known to favor ambiguous titles, so the naming may not even signify the band's own intent to categorize. – edgarde 17:33, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was Move. I'm confused why EP7 (disambiguation) was moved to EP7 just a few hours ago but I'm moving it back. —Wknight94 (talk) 02:51, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

move back to EP7

[edit]

This page was originally EP7, retitled preemptively to EP7 (Autechre ep) by Chappy84. This was discussed with the user, who agreed to go with whatever an administrator decides.

EP4, EP5, EP6 and EP8 are empty. EP1, EP2 and EP3 are newly-created dab pages that I am not disputing.

Of the listed uses for the name EP7, only the Autechre album is notable, but I have made a dab page. To finish this job, I need the move performed. – edgarde 01:29, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:AutechreEP7.jpeg

[edit]

Image:AutechreEP7.jpeg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
