I'm no mathematician, but I do speak Italian; I found Collezione, and translated it; I strongly suspect, however, that it can safely be pitched. If anything is salvageable from that little squib, it belongs in Collection. Someone please look at it! — Bill 19:27, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Debt Collection

[edit]

Do you suppose a topic on debt collection should be linked here? Sure, not very many people enjoy discussing the topic, but at the same time, it seems that many are unaware of debt collection and its practices.

Perhaps it could say something to the effect of, "In finance, debt collection refers to the act of negotiating credit account payments in order to eliminate delinquency on an account."--RonDuPlain 20:27, 25 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Fashion

[edit]

The term collection is also used for fashion collection (winter summer etc).--81.217.20.10 (talk) 17:29, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mathematics

[edit]

Is there a term in mathematics for this concept of a set with possible multiple occurrence of elements, with order being insignificant?--Patrick 05:02, 2004 Sep 27 (UTC)

multiset (Oops, I didn't notice the question was that old) Markus Schmaus 21:29, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Split

[edit]

This is already essentially a disambiguation page, so rather than splitting (it's not clear what that would involve) I've made its status clearer. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 14:06, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
