There must be a mistake here. The article says that the Review was founded in 1846 and survived until 1880 - but with a "brief suspension" from 1846 (the year it was founded) to 1866 (twenty years later - which doesn't sound brief). The article says it was renamed to or absorbed by the Agricultural Review and Industrial Monthly in 1884; what happened from 1880 to 1884? I've marked for cleanup. --Jeff Medkeff | Talk 20:57, May 17, 2005 (UTC)

That should be 1864, not 1846. Typo, my mistake. I can't find any source that states exactly what happened between 1880 and 1884: I can find one that says it become Agricultural Review and Industrial Monthly in 1884 [1] and plenty that suggest it ceased publication in 1880 [2] [3] [4]. I remember reading that it underwent more than one name change, so it's possible that it became something else in 1880 only to become something else again in 1884. I'll write that into the article, but I'll leave the tag since I can't verify it. -- Trivial 05:25, 21 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
The current version of the publication history states that the review "changed up" (or was "changed up"?) from 1880 to 1884. I have no idea what that means. Maybe the publication schedule was skillfully delayed in order to throw off the readership? <g> — ℜob C. alias ÀLAROB 13:22, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've sent an email to the history professor who owns the web page asking for updated link information. If I can establish a correspondence with him, I will try to resolve the above questions as well.

Good read

[edit]

I consider this article a "Good read". It has a section tagged as "Needing expansion" (June 2008) but that does affect the B-class assessment.
