Population

[edit]

What means "Population (2010) • Total 32,926 (113,000 with the subsections)"? And if there is a population of 32,926 how can there be "Williamsburg's Satmar population numbers about 73,000"? תנא קמא (talk) 21:00, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Satmars are included in the 113,000. If you're wondering about 32,926, maybe it's referring to the core neighborhood of Los Sures. If you check the source given, there's a separate count for North Side-South Side and Bedford. StonyBrook (talk) 21:33, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
So maybe change the lead section so that it should include all Williamsburg? Per this source it is at 150,713. Thank you. תנא קמא (talk) 12:11, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Is rent per day, week, fortnight, month? it is assumed the reader knows, some don't.

Rents are collected monthly in Brooklyn. I've changed the article to reflect that and will add a citation or two (right now mostly what I find are real estate listings.) Average rates are different from neighborhood to neighborhood depending on local amenities, distance to public transportation, nearness to Manhattan, "desirability" - of which Williamsburg is considered very desireable, etc. Netherzone (talk) 14:30, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Population and income statistics change in Infobox

[edit]

I noticed that the infobox stats were recently changed, but a verifiable, reliable source was not added or noted in an edit summary. The population was changed from 78,700 to 151,101 (almost double) and the income average was changed from $76,608 to $98,284. Pinging the editor @Justicex07: who made the change so they can provide where this data came from, and a link to the source so that can be added to the article.
