The Boombox

[edit]

User:isento, with all due respect, but theboombox.com is a user blog, unregistered media outlet, and is not a reliable source. Plus you just removed from the article album nomination for the Grammy Award and the fact that the album won the 1987 Soul Train Music Awards. I don't think this edit is the best decision in favor of choosing a blog called "The Boombox" where everything written is not confirmed by anything. I agree that rockonthenet.com is also not the best solution to confirm the Grammy nomination, but it's better to confirm with a link to the Grammy website: https://www.grammy.com/grammys/artists/run-dmc/8333 and not delete forever! And the nomination for the 1987 Soul Train Awards can be checked in the article of the same name. - Felix Montana (talk) 13:58, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is not a blog, but a publication of Townsquare Media. The writer is actually a veteran music journalist and editor ([1]). Also, the Grammy mention did not even say what category the award was for. isento (talk) 20:50, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
