Decent Quality

[edit]

This new doorstop picture which claims to show a doorstop of "decent quality" unfortunately only shows another doorstop of poor quality. Would it be possible to replace the picture by a better one? Also the dark green carpet looks horrible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.12.26.84 (talk) 17:10, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the new picture which is showing a decent doorstop indeed. Unfortunately, the background looks a little bit strange -- almost like one of my old record sleeves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.12.26.88 (talk) 12:26, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear sir, you are very welcome. This specimen is one of my better ones. A very keen eye you have, as this is a record sleeve indeed. Kind regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.12.26.39 (talk) 13:10, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Encyclopedia

[edit]

The page is wonderful, everything you want to know about doorknobs. but it is not in any way suited for an encyclopedia due to layout and writing style.

Then fix it. I don't see any major problems personally though. --tjstrf 02:27, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures

[edit]

Still need pictures of (at least): Low-style wall mounted door stop, high-style wall mounted door stop if it looks different from the low mounted one, hinge-pin and higher quality picture of the doorknob catching door stop. Strait 00:58, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sandwiches

[edit]

Came here from the English Cuisine article, claims "doorstops" are also a type of sandwich http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_cuisine#Sandwiches 184.166.4.117 (talk) 06:35, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Next Steps

[edit]

I know I'm obsessing way too much over doorstops, but I plan to add:

  • Popular Culture references, like Hodor
  • Notable doorstops, like the $100,000 moon rock doorstops
  • Crazy Victorian doorstops.

I have a big plans. Join me on this crazy journey, won't you? --FeldBum (talk) 20:14, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
