Arunachal Dragon Force

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Arunachal Dragon Force (ADF), also known as the East India Liberation Front, is a violent secessionist movement in the eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh.[1] The ADF seeks to create an independent sovereign state resembling the British Teola Country, which would include areas currently in Arunachal Pradesh as well as neighboring Assam.[2]

It is also alleged that this group is sponsored by some tainted politicians in Arunachal Pradesh. The self-styled "commander-in-chief" of the group was beaten up in a local jail in Arunachal Pradesh in the late 1990s, and since then, there has been no further news about the group.[citation needed]
